vSeeBox Setup in 3 Easy Steps (Plus Tips for First-Timers)

Your vSeeBox is designed to be simple, and most people are watching within a few minutes. Here's exactly how to set it up — plus easy answers to the questions first-timers ask most.

The 3 steps

Step 1 — Plug it in

Connect the included HDMI cable from your vSeeBox to an HDMI port on your TV, then plug the power adapter into the wall. Tip: note which HDMI port you used, such as "HDMI 1."

Step 2 — Switch your TV to the right input

Turn on your TV and press the "Input" or "Source" button on your TV remote until you see the vSeeBox screen. Pick the same HDMI port from Step 1.

Step 3 — Connect to Wi-Fi

On the vSeeBox screen, select your home Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password. You're ready to watch.

Easy fixes for common questions

  • "My TV says no signal." Your TV is on the wrong input. Press "Input" or "Source" and choose the HDMI port your box is plugged into.
  • "The remote isn't working." The remote needs 2 AAA batteries (not included). Make sure they're installed and facing the right way.
  • "The picture pauses or buffers." This is almost always your internet, not the box. Move your box closer to the Wi-Fi router, or connect it with a network cable for the most stable signal.
  • "How do I add an app?" Open the Google Play Store on the box, search for the app you want, and select Install — just like on a phone.
